Health and connection

Our connection with the Infinite consciousness:

So to sum up, I am proposing that there is an infinite consciousness which is everything combined, this consciousness divides itself up creating and re-inventing itself inwards within itself. The consequence of this process is the levels of consciousness, forms of life which differ but are still interconnected as the observations suggest. There may be "no plan" or self consciousness at the primary level, in which case the primary purpose seems to be to express itself, or to interact with itself, possibly in an attempt to become more understanding with itself.

We are in fact a level of this consciousness that has evolved to become self aware, this is not through pure chance, there are rules within nature but there is no evidence I have come across to suggest we were supposed to evolve in the way we did, it seems to be a consequence to this expression. So we are probably here because we are, we are a form of unintentional art, call it a perfect expression – especially when we can see this based on our self awareness which can be viewed in reference to us, our species, nature, the planets, the universe.

So if we are a form of consciousness, a part of the overall perfection, then can we create the same partial consciousness, in fact I believe that we have done and continue to do so. When you look back at all the earths religions, and Gods – when the religions have changed and the new gods have come in to be worshipped these perceptions came from humanity, over time it is very possible that a form of consciousness has been created by our very beliefs, a form which can be communicated with.

I see the infinite consciousness almost as a mirror, and in many respects what you put in you will get out. Bearing in mind that this happens mostly as a collective process, if the correct conscious signals are sent out then the infinite consciousness will respond.

Since coming to this understanding, I tend to view things in a different light. For instance a book is a level of consciousness, packed with information which is able to program my consciousness. Applied with the ability to "become greater" I can perceive this process with a deeper understanding, to make the best use of this.

Art, music, literature, are all forms of consciousness on a new level, the level which comes from our level. When you think about this we are creating a whole new reality, and consciousness, especially when our art, music literature is often designed to express the very forces which exist within the infinite consciousness itself. Doesn't this take expression to a new level literally!

In an age where we are able to create computers and technological creations, also the genetic evolution, we are not far away from creating intelligence and a level of new life altogether. Although we are not at the point where we fully understand consciousness and our symbiotic link with a greater consciousness, we are not far away, and surely the research and conclusions in this book deem it not far away.

In life there is a rule, if you think of it then so have at least 50 other people around the world, so based on this I am sure that many who read this book may have even progressed further from the content. Interestingly how inventions and ideas can be generated on different sides of the earth, is this a direct result of a shared consciousness, an infinite consciousness perhaps?

Excersize:

To try and tap into that creative consciousness, why don't you draw an inspired picture. Get a sheet of paper and a series of coloured pencils or pens. Pick a colour for each of these levels:

  • The universe
  • The Sun
  • The Earth
  • A volcano
  • The ocean
  • A tree
  • A mouse
  • you
  • your house
  • A molecule of slime mould

Without any planning or logical thought other than assigning a colour for each thing, jus go with it and enjoy it. Art is better when we just allow the creativity to flow. Speaking as a musician it always feels like the creative part is of external influence, again perhaps this is the infinite consciousness expressing itself through ourselves.

Repercussions of disconnection with the infinite consciousness

Now I have done some observations myself and when you look at today and the level of population, which is very high and the quality of the average genetic profile for each human, I believe it is conceivable that for the average person - we are becoming inferior. We are more prone to conformation, and society is almost becoming robotic, monotonous and less creative.

This may be a contradiction to other points but I believe we are becoming further from the source of the infinite consciousness, and for most people they are stuck on a level of human consciousness that limits and inhibits them. It is possible at any time to connect to the infinite consciousness and create and produce something remarkable for all to wonder, and I also think these creative sparks flow throughout the consciousness of mankind perhaps in a morphic resonance method in which Sheldrake is proposing.

The key to mankind's prosperity is to bear in mind that we have access to this creative force, this infinite consciousness and also that we do not need to procreate quite so massively, as we can work on what we have. Unfortunately this is nowhere near a priority at present as the worlds leaders seem to be reacting to a multitude of problems, and we do not seem to be in control of the species and its evolution. The phrase quality not quantity would seem to resonate quite well at this point.

Healing/ Health:

During the research complied in this book I have looked at various healing techniques, some of which use a method to contact external forces such as spirits , some use energy from one person to another to directly treat illness, some use vibrations and the local environment, and others use mental techniques combined with physical treatments. There are far too many alternative healing treatments to mention here so I have focussed on these key ones. The interesting thing to note is that each alternative healing technique seems to have benefitted many people and each with their own success stories, some almost miracle like. At first glance alternative healing techniques seem to be pseudo in nature, applying no physical practition but mental projection, but each should be investigated individually. I fully accept that wanting and believing one can be healed is instrumental to healing some illnesses and diseases, but I am also open to the possibility that there are some other things at work, hence the lines of inquiry. Remember in modern medic the placebo effect is involved in many successful treatments, and if it works then it should be used above all other judgements.

A lot can be said for much illness being caused by a failure to be in the right place at the right time, stress and other effects can manifest themselves in physical pain. Quite often a simple change in lifestyle, eating habits, regular excersize and spending time in nature away from electronic influence can have very beneficial effects.

Shamanism:

I haven't done enough here around Shamanism and healing, but Terrance Mckenna has and listening to some of his youtube clips after investigating he has Identified some key points. The Shamans use drugs to induce a dream world which can provide many answers to what the Shamans seek, i am very doubtful that the skeptiks have investigated this, a great book I have read which inspired a fantastic Rock group is Albert Huxely's "The doors of perception"

During the research "Plant Spirit medicine" was researched as a part of this, "Elliot Cowan" studies this form of medicine in which he learns from the shamans that the power in plant healing is less homeopathic and more spiritual, and that the healing is about inviting the plant spirits to heal. In the book there are cases of compelling healing results in which western medicine was unable to produce. In fact it is rarely documented but there are examples of travelling through the mind to contact spirits or guardians, based on the propositions contained within this book, I do not find it difficult to accept that this is possible. Again, if we apply the infinite consciousness principle in as much as the information is there and accessible, many varying means may be utilised in order to bring this information to us on a materialistic and useable level, shamanism may be just this > information retrieval.

Reike/ Qigong:

There are many successful qigong practitioners, using qi - a type of healing energy to help and in certain situations cure people. The treatment is ongoing and gradual in the most of impressive of cases, interestingly heat and in some instances, smoke can be seen emanating from the palms of the practitioner. Having spent time witnessing Reiki and having it performed on me I have concluded that yet again the scientific / sceptical argument doesn't explain it. There are many cases I am sure of pseudo healing, but this radiating heat with associated effects of dizziness, euphoria and other side effects becomes difficult to explain. I would strongly advise witnessing it, and if necessary considering it as a viable treatment depending on the issue.

The human shakra points:

A brief explanation of Chakra points:

The 7 Chakras are the energy centres in our body in which energy flows through.
Blocked energy in our 7 Chakras can often lead to illness so it's important to understand what each Chakra represents and what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely. Here's our quick summary:
1. Root Chakra - Represents our foundation and feeling of being grounded.
  • Location: Base of spine in tailbone area.
  • Emotional issues: Survival issues such as financial independence, money, and food.
  • More on Root Chakra healing

2. Sacral Chakra - Our connection and ability to accept others and new experiences.
  • Location: Lower abdomen, about 2 inches below the navel and 2 inches in.
  • Emotional issues: Sense of abundance, well-being, pleasure, sexuality.
  • More on Sacral Chakra healing

3. Solar Plexus Chakra - Our ability to be confident and in-control of our lives.
  • Location: Upper abdomen in the stomach area.
  • Emotional issues: Self-worth, self-confidence, self-esteem.
  • More on Solar Plexus Chakra healing

4. Heart Chakra - Our ability to love.
  • Location: Center of chest just above heart.
  • Emotional issues: Love, joy, inner peace.
  • More on Heart Chakra healing

5. Throat Chakra - Our ability to communicate.
  • Location: Throat.
  • Emotional issues: Communication, self-expression of feelings, the truth.
  • More on Throat Chakra healing

6. Third Eye Chakra - Our ability to focus on and see the big picture.
  • Location: Forehead between the eyes. (Also called the Brow Chakra)
  • Emotional issues: Intuition, imagination, wisdom, ability to think and make decisions.
  • More on Third Eye Chakra healing

7. Crown Chakra - The highest Chakra represents our ability to be fully connected spiritually.
  • Location: The very top of the head.
  • Emotional issues: Inner and outer beauty, our connection to spirituality, pure bliss.
  • More on Crown Chakra healing

There is merit in understanding that there is a physical connection with our mental and spiritual wellbeing, and I see the benefits allowing specific issues to be treated. When you meditate you may feel like your third eye Chakra has opened. As some of your spiritual excersizes continue you may also find that you feel heat emanating from your palms or other parts of your body, this is your physical becoming aware of the energy, and the heavenly side.

Sound healing:

The realm of sound healing is connected with the idea that the universe is vibrating, each person or object has a resonance frequency and its a matter of finding the correct resonance to provide us with a perfect healing environment. Music and vibration has many useful effects, wether it be to induce a relaxing environment, or provide great social participation. Chanting, drumming and other methods of sound can have beneficial effects, and when used in a group it can create very powerful energies that can be very beneficial. Tribes and ancient groups were aware of this and its been heavily speculated that the layouts of ancient sites may have been designed to utilise these energies in an acoustic nature. In reference to the infinite consciousness, sound and vibration is an expression of this infinite energy, creating chains of physical reactions that echo throughout the physical.

EFT:

Quite often in life we experience trauma, and this stays with us and can manifest itself in phycological and physical traumas later on in life. Dealing with previous trauma is important, this can be done through many mediums, one method I have experienced which is acupuncture quite useful is E.F.T. With E.F.T, we learn to forgive ourselves and anyone related to a traumatic experience in our past, while tapping various pressure points around the body, this method has been described as acupuncture without needles.

So what happens when we tap ourselves in certain places, is this mere intent? I think not as if any places are tapped then the effects have not been the same. Intent is a part of it but as with auric fields and chakra points

It seems that could be physically connected, at certain points and by tapping we are sending a signal out, to the real us, an infinite consciousness, I am not sure but if there are levels of consciousness there are perhaps points that connect the different levels of consciousness, this can perhaps explain some phenomena.

Often in conflict we tend to adopt one of three positions, the persecuted, the persecutor, or the rescuer. In a conflict we react to the situation normally in one of these ways, and in most conflicts where we are the persecuted, it is easy to become reactive and become the persecutor. As an innocent bystander we are often faced with a choice of getting involved and it is easier to be the rescuer. The greatest of us will take responsibility and become the rescuer when being persecuted against, or persecuting. The easiest way of doing this is to take a deep breath and see the situation from outside of our perspective, i.e become an observer, then we can take the position that is beneficial to all sides.

Excersize:

For information about E.F.T, a free introduction guide can be found online, along with many testimonials. For this excersize get comfortable, think about a time where you were involved in a dispute, perhaps this dispute ended badly for yourself or someone else, you or someone else may have been at fault. Think about what happened, and think about who was involved. Think about the other people involved, and how they felt, and how you had of approached the situation as an innocent bystander attempting to settle the situation. Think about the possible motivations of those involved, and whether you could have done anything differently. Remember in every conflict, both sides are in the wrong, it is easy to justify ourselves based on other peoples actions or reactions, we should truly base our actions against what we know to be right and wrong, irrespective of the other side. Ask yourself, is there truly anything else I could have done? And be honest.

Now start your breathing excersizes, and envision the face of the people involved, see the beauty in that person, the variation, and that their involvement in the conflict has bought you to a point where you are able to understand and learn from the encounter. Can you forgive them, take into account all of the events involved, is it possible that you could have reacted like that, or perhaps the person was troubled and looks back at the situation in embarrassment, imagine if they could forgive themselves for this in order to learn which would bring about a different circumstance next time. Can you forgive them?

Take a look at your own actions in the situation, why did you behave the way you did, would you do it differently next time, and can you forgive yourself? Acceptance is the first point of preventance, can we take responsibility for our actions, can we learn from them, can we become the metaphorical rescuer? Can you imagine what you would do as an innocent bystander, could you diffuse the situations, both sides are important, so understanding should be shown to the respect of both sides, and also forgiveness for any wrongdoing.

As you reach a conclusion, where you accept the wrong acts which led to the conflict and forgive the sides involved imaging a perfect white sphere emulating from your body and maintain this, this is a ball of love and forgiveness, and you wish to send this to those involved. Make sure at the end of the excersize you thank yourself for understanding. This process takes courage, and may be difficult to start off with as we are indoctrinated to blame in todays society. In effect when we blame we are giving away any empowerment, the key is to take responsibility in any situation regardless of who's at fault, understanding goes a long way.

Synchronicity

So the infinite consciousness, is it aware. It is entirely possible, but this belief is not consistent to my current understanding. It is easy for us to apply our own identity onto the world around us, we need only look at disney pixar films where cars and creatures are personified. In truth throughout myth and religion, nature has been defined using animals or gods to represent elements of itself, i.e The Egyptian gods. The truth is on planet earth the only species which would seem to be self aware is humanity, but I think we try to take comfort in not being alone, which is partially why we have felt the need to create icons and self aware entities that punish and reward us, for good and bad behaviour. This idea is a primitive form of morality, good and evil, concepts which we have little need for today. In truth the only weakness we have is fear, all of our undoings stem from fear, self fear & fear of the unknown. Some belief systems rely on fear to guide morality, the only true belief systems are individual specific, the personal journey with the infinite consciousness is the most important, the ways and means that this manifests itself to us is irrelevant to anyone else. We must remember our connection with the infinite consciousness, the names and stories are unimportant. If the infinite consciousness reveals itself in the form of an eight headed serpent that likes cricket then great, no one else is to argue otherwise.

A recent subject of research, during the research a connection to the paranormal was evident. My interpretation of this synchronicity subject was a self motivational one. I have found many perceptions / many ways of viewing reality, they all have benefits and the secret relies on being able accept that these are just perceptions and not truths. I would go one step further in that I believe that everything is the interaction and transfer of data, information, and that one way of perceiving things is through the idea of synchronicity. Essentially this would mean that perhaps there is no actual movement, but this is a consequence of our perception combined with the transfer of energy itself. I.E the moon is synchronised to the earth, the earth with the sun e.t.c, there would also have to be ratios, between them, perhaps mass itself doesn't exist just ratios of data being transferred. I guess to get back to the point I was attempting badly to make, if consciousness is data, then mentally we synchronise ourselves to things. Take advertising for example, it relies on the human need to belong, to define oneself, if the advert describes a desirable lifestyle choice we accept it in, we purchase the product and give it our attention. Now the deeper meaning to this is when we do that we open up a steam of information/data coming from the intention of those behind it, this information may be good or bad / and we may not be as consciously aware about it as we may think.

Life is full of opinions, clubs, unions, football teams, schools, religions, films, hip hop, pornography, competitions, cars, fast foods, beers,.... and so on. If in fact we are witnessing the direct transfer of information, and intent is involved we should not be so willing to give ourselves fully to them, which is difficult to stop even when you are aware of it!

The plus side to synchronicity is it may help to explain how as a collective humanity is very strong, when many synchronise to a better goal – the goal becomes a force of its own, a consciousness perhaps...

Also it may help to explain a great deal with some of the other areas of the book, for instance were the ancient megaliths used in some way to synchronise the area / inhabitants somehow, perhaps this promoted growth and health, the subject of megaliths was about to unfold....

In this way perhaps the best healing tool is being part of a group, being synchronised to them, being synchronised to nature, the sun and elements within it. Perhaps understanding this synchronicity may help massively also, and any perceptual tools should be employed to help this.

Dowsing

Dowsing:

Dowsing is the ability to locate objects, people or answers to questions by using a subconscious response. Most dowsers use a tool, L-rods, forks or pendulums, although some can device-less dowse. There are many theories on how this can work, but there are two main theories or ideas about how this works. The first is that all objects have a field, and give off a signal, when a dowser gets near or above the desired object they feel a response in the tool.

The second is that the question goes out to a being, entity, or higher form of consciousness, then goes back with the required answer although there is agreement that this method is not 100 per cent, and some areas seem to be more accurate than others. The second is more esoteric, but in my experience this is the better fit. Map dowsing works in some instances also and it is a remote process, which again would indicate a conscious/unconscious link. Again, if our consciousness is able to break itself up and literally find the answer, then again this would imply that this consciousness travels within a greater consciousness. Going by the earlier theories dowsing seems to be another way of the conscious mind to tap into an unconscious phenomena, one which is most likely beyond our own unconsciousness minds. Some claim to use spirits and guides from beyond the veil, I cannot unfortunately confirm or deny this but the probability leads one to deduce the information is coming from somewhere.

Through my own personal experiences I have found Dowsing has at times worked with a remarkable degree of success, and at other times i have found it to be less accurate. This doesn't lead me to deduce that it doesn't work, especially when the ideometer response doesn't cut the mustard - more that it needs more work done to establish why this it, but like anything I am sure it involves the mind and a lot of practice, I seriously recommend giving it a go!

Personally I find that when I am dowsing on site with some L-rods (my personal favourite) If I come across water my rods will divert toward the water

Trying to explain dowsing is difficult, it is better to have a go and see for yourself.

Rod dowsing:

Excersize:

Get a couple of wire hangers, turn them into an L-Shape. Get some plastic biro's and remove the ink, and contain the rods inside the plastic tubes, Hold them in your hands like this picture.

Then find a water drain, either in your garden or in the house, walk towards it while saying in your head "please show me the water drain as I cross", and see if the rods move at all when you walk above the water. The trick is to hold the rods at an angle where they can move freely but gravity doesn't take over. Many people can dowse first time but some others it takes a little longer. If this doesn't work then keep trying, but in my experience trying too hard will counteract the objective.

If this doesn't work then try marking out a line with some string, and when you cross the string envision the rods moving. You may need to move your hands to get the rods to move initially, but over time they will move without this movement. Practicing this will help you to learn to dowse hidden targets, going back to the water dowsing, imagine a drain under you somewhere and the rods moving when you get above it, hopefully they will start to move in a consistent place, for best results dowse the garden and mark a map out with where you suspect their to be water, then research and find out exactly where the drain may be. Compare the results and see how you done! Water dowsing is excepted by many around the world, mainly as a magnetic consequence. If you find faith a hard subject to approach, then water dowsing may be a window into the esoteric arts and unlocking your potential. I know respected scientists who dowse, they continue to dowse because they get results.

Dowsing is a method which has been used for centuries, I have found generally that methods that are a part of our history then there tends to be some truth, unfortunately anything which isn't favoured by science, tends to be ridiculed. It is widely accepted by many still though that dowsing can be used to locate water, generally accepted as a magnetic consequence, however science doesn't really explain this, and In my experience communication with a force seems to be apparent, what this force is I am not sure of but the following chapters have various theories and my final conclusion.

Pendulum dowsing:

A dowsing pendulum is an object suspended by a cord, used for obtaining information which the normal senses are unable to access on a conscious  level. You could improvise with an everyday object, such as a pendant, a chain, a plumb bob or a ring on a thread. However, a purpose made pendulum is best because it has a shape and geometry, that is, a symmetry. This allows the swing to be more even and, more sensitive and therefore more effective. The pendulum, as an extension of the person using it, may be influenced both consciously and subconsciously making the responses accurate as well as inaccurate. Wishful thinking or a preconceived outcome, however slight, can be magnified making the use of the pendulum in that instance ineffective. The user must take steps to prevent this. Insufficiently specific questioning can result in senseless responses.

Generally a pendulum is used to obtain information, most commonly, a yes or no response, furthermore charts can be used to establish specific dates, numbers e.t.c. A rod can also be used in this way, although a rod will give a direction also, which is very handy for finding specific items e.t.c

Personally I struggle to get accurate responses from a pendulum, and feel better using my rods, so I stick to these so its entirely up to you but I would recommend trying it and seeing the results that you get.

Excersize:

Follow the above advice in reference to the object to use, it helps if you have a bond with the item you are using, whether this comes after the selection or before is not important. Try asking some questions, although it is important that you always ask three questions before dowsing for anything, this is known as the can I , May I , should I questions. The can I is asking if you are physically able to dowse the target, may I is asking for permission, and if it is correct and just that you should dowse and the should I Is a check whether you think that you should dowse question. It is important that you get a yes to these questions otherwise your results will be influenced.

For the purpose of getting to this point you should establish what your yes response will be, as for everyone it is different. Ask the pendulum to show you the yes position and record the movement. If you get no movement, this may be the response, but it is possible to implant your own response, try moving the pendulum in a clockwise motion, while saying this is yes. Then ask for the no response, and again the same thing applies if you get no movement, try anti-clockwise. After practising this you should be able to ask some questions that you know the answer to, and getting a yes or no response which is defined. Keep practicing it and then try the coin toss excersize. Flip a coin and do not look at it, ask whether the coin landed on heads, and record the answer – check it and see what you got and was it accurate. Another excersize is to do a quiz, asking for the answers, then checking the answers. Initially Most people report a 70%+ accuracy which is not totally reliable but motivation seems to have a direct connection with the accuracy of the answers.

Map dowsing:

Excersize:

If you want to learn map-dowsing, first get yourself a map of an area known to you. Probably the best thing you can do for beginners is to draw a map of your home and yard (if applicable).
Decide what you are going to dowse for and then have the map on a table or flat surface. You'll probably need a straightedge and perhaps a pencil and eraser as well as a pendulum or l-rod.
The pendulum is handiest, but there are small l-rods you can use. So, go with the tool of your choice, the one you feel most comfortable using.
Before starting, just sit quietly for a moment or two and have in your mind what it is you're after. It could be water pipes, electric cables, lost keys, where the water leak really is, the oldest shrub, the healthiest plant or any other thing which you can then go and find visually to check.
Ideally you should have a way of checking the results after the excersize, so make sure you clearly can envision your target, then begin to dowse.
To do this, there are two main methods. Find which one works best for you.

  • Triangulation
  • Use the straightedge and move it slowly down (or across) the map until you get a hit. You then know that the object is somewhere along that line. Mark the line length lightly with a pencil.
  • Change the straightedge so that it is at 90 degrees to the line you just drew. Move it along until you get another hit. Mark that line as well.
  • Where they intersect is the location of the target.

  • Divide and Conquer
  • Divide the map into quarters with your pencil and straightedge. Dowse which quarter the target is in.
  • Take that section and divide it into quarters and re-dowse to find the next (smaller) area to check.
  • Continue until you have a location or the area is small enough to search.

When you have finished check your results, what did you find? One good method is get a friend or loved one to bury an object somewhere in the garden, envision the said object and see if you find where it is.

Practicing your dowsing skills, and you may find yourself with a useful tool, beware those who use dowsing for financial benefit tend to come unstuck. Personally I have pursued an investigation into the earths magnetic spots and ancient megaliths in relation to the location of these magnetic lines / spots. Dowsing can be used to identify health weakness's and energy, this field in itself is worth investigating. The art of dowsing has also been used to identify land mines and car bombs, as well as oil and water. Due to its inconvenient position in todays society, it may be some time before it is accepted by the mainstream.

Ancient sites & Energy in nature

Ancient sites / Ley lines:

A long ordain research project of mine involved the possible characteristics, intention and purpose of ancient sites. Many theories have been chucked around, many alternative lines of research including, dimensions, alignments, location, geology, sound and resonance properties, and less tangible ones such as earth energy, vibration, feel and memory. The conclusion of all of this research, thanks to the fieldworkers themselves, including Peter Knight, Hamish Miller, Gerald Hawkins, Alexander Thom, most of the research could be done from my armchair and laptop, while a few modest field trips of my own. On the majority of my field trips The observations I concentrated on were the effect of the site onto myself, my consciousness and dowsing for possible energy lines.

Ley lines, are straight alignments where a multiple (3 or more) of ancient sites can be found. There are equivalents around the globe, from fairy lines to dragon lines and often involved with myth and supernatural stories. The most famous includes the St Michael alignment that runs from Hopton on sea on the suffolk coast to Lands end in Cornwall, there is much speculation about ley lines, but it has been agreed that they were perhaps the earliest maps of use for pilgrimage to navigation and trade, they often use natural landmarks like mountains as well as ancient structures like stonehenge. Ley lines do exist as a phenomena and can be dowsed, but they are always straight.

Energy lines or serpent lines are a modern day term for a phenomena associated with ley lines and the sites situated on them. This term was introduced when Hamish Miller and Paul Broadhurst dowsed the St Michael alignment, expecting to dowse the alignment, they actually found two bands of energy that curved over the landscape and meeting at these sites, the bands were called serpent lines and were named Michael and Mary, because of their proposed mating at the sites, in connection with fertility rites that have been proposed to have taken place. An energy line is a band of substance, lets call it x. These bands are detectable via dowsing, vary in width and seem to move in relation to the earths interaction with the sun and the moon.

I picked up the book The Sun and the Serpent by Hamish and Paul, and visited many of the sites without little spiritual understanding, and I found the sites to be remarkable. Different human interactions were expressed with the variety of the sites that seemed to compliment the knowledge of the layout of the energy lines, from ancient to modern, ritual to private society.

This substance which we can detect through dowsing, could be an element of the source itself, veins of consciousness if you like. During visits to sites I have found complex symbols being formed by the energy, much too complex for me to have imagined them. This indicates interaction, may be even communication – on an expression level. The reason I say this is because the symbols which are formed often configure to fibonacci, and sacred geometry, which is linked to the laws of nature discussed earlier. If these are indeed linked then what better evidence for a natural consciousness.

So lets go one step further and suppose that if when we write a book, create a piece of music we are creating a level of consciousness, what then if a group of ancients created a structure which was built near-perfectly mimicked the positions of the moon and the sun? Would this structure become a level of consciousness in itself? Could these sites grow and develop into a consciousness, interacting with us and nature itself. Could this consciousness be self aware, maybe not but at these sites we could communicate with the scale of the infinite consciousness, with interaction. This level of consciousness could store information, past interactions and could share these with other experiencers, in the form of ghosts, angels, spirits, information, memories, anything we could translate within reason.

Of course, even if this is the case this may not have been the intention. The question of the ancient sites may never be answered. Although peace should be found in appreciating the sites, irrespective of their original purpose they have been inhabited for a long time, a lot of residual energy can be found there.

Excersize:

This excersize is designed to get you thinking about an ancient site. You will need to venture out to an ancient site, if you have never been to one, visit the megalithic portal online and find the closest ancient site. You would be better searching for a bronze/stone or iron age structure, open to the public and if possible connected to an ancient trackway and an ancient spring. Take the relevant equipment, such as boots, day sack, waterproofs and two bottles, one empty if you are visiting an ancient spring (or holy well). Th idea of this journey is to experience a pilgrimage type existence that the ancestors before you may well have walked. In doing this you will become more susceptible to the consciousness of the place, and you may even experience the expression we were talking about in this section. If you cannot gain access, or am unable to walk then just visit the site itself. If you can gain information on the site before hand this is useful, and if you can imagine the site itself from this information then even better, a meditation experience may also be useful, before you get to the site.

When approaching the site, try to follow your instinct, and engage the section about mindfulness, try to taste, touch, smell, and see the site, try to imagine all of this in its time. Ask yourself where the best place to sit is, If you dowse, after asking should I, May I, Can I, ask to find out where the best place to sit is, if the site has an entrance then ask the best way of entering. If you get an instinct to sit somewhere then start to question it, then ignore it then run with your intuition, sit there as long as its safe and possible. Then get yourself into a meditation position, relax your breathing, try to imagine your mind being free and filling the space around you, if it is a contained area, try to fill the space. After a few moments relaxing and breathing in sync with the site, ask slowly wether the consciousness would like to make itself known to you, and see if anything happens. Don't worry if not, developing a relationship with a site in this way may take time, or you may find at a later point that a residual consciousness may reside within you and communication may happen later.  In any case once you have opened up you will find that experiences may happen, and these will help you, guiding you in a positive manor. I have found that a site consciousness will respond to you on an individual basis, you may find that you start to dream about a place, or you will feel a sense of belonging when you return to a site. I should mention that physic protection should be considered when doing this type of excersize. This is similar to the excersize listed before, imagine a white light around you, this is everything positive, when mastered this bright light will literally leave you in awe.

Creating a consciousness:

In writing this book, I have also been researching at sites, history and our relationship with these places. I seems that from early days we had a tendency of perceiving places as important, from a very early age we pilgrimaged to places that were considered sacred, or nipples of the earth. Defining the earth as a living entity can be found in the depths of our history, and in fact many of our activities and building structures may have had a lot to do with recognising, worshipping, and utilising the earth as a living entity, or as I propose: raw consciousness.

In this way when a site was visited often then it would have become more important, well known and If I am correct the earth would have interacted with this migration, and meeting at these sites, and over time this would have developed the sites as well as those using the sites, perhaps even ancestral communication was possible.

If we theorise one step further then we could also say that some of the megalithic sites may have been a creation of consciousness, perhaps the ancients saw themselves as creators of consciousness, not a life form but a piece of perfect art in relation to their understanding. The alignments may have been part of the intention of the site, aligning it to the sun and/or moon would have given the site a specific feel, something to help trigger the relationship with those using the site, this would have surely had an effect of the earth itself.

Often when visiting ancient sites one can feel strangely draw in , often feeling that the shape of the stones and features tells a story about the personality of a site, of course you could be forgiven for dismissing such thoughts as personification and the apparent need to compare oneself to the world around them. I would contest this, but that is a primary observation, you will have to make your own.

Excersize : Dowsing at an ancient site:

Rods are the preferred method to dowsing at ancient sites as the rods will show a direction and you can find yourself being led around a site. You can use pendulums but these are difficult to master and give less information, but remember that you are the dowsing tool, the rod or pendulum is an extension. Start off by finding a local ancient site, this may be a stone circle or similar megalithic feature, a tomb, or a cairn, failing this you could find a church, a lot of churches were re-built on ancient sites. When you get to the site, make sure you ask permission to enter the site – there are many reasons for this but I think that this falls in line with what we have been talking about in that the site is a form of consciousness, and that you wouldn't just want people poking around in your head. When you get to the site you follow the preliminary work before visiting the site, i.e are you looking for energy, processional routes, burials or something else. I always try to find a "best position" for me, so ask the rods to show you the direction of the best place for you, the most healthy place for you, and follow the rods. Dependant on your level of dowsing, you may need to train your rod responses, but lets go with a crossing of the rods to indicate the exact spot, so ask or envision the rods crossing in that spot. Don't worry if you don't get it first time, but if you do ensure you sit in this spot and meditate/ envision positive energy so that the place and the next person can enjoy the experience just as you have done. I always hunt for energy lines, and I will walk until I reach an edge to an energy line at which point the rods will open up in the t-position, I have perfected this so that the rods will run in line to the edge itself, so if I am at an angle then the rods will reflect the true angle of the line, I then ask for the direction/flow of the line and the rods will move in the direction. Often when you dowse further down i.e closer to the floor the rods will change direction, implying that the lines are made up of alternating lines, i.e positive/negative. When I find the edge of a line I will then ask for the middle of the line and continue, and then the other edge of the line. If you mark the lines you then can work out the width of the line. Often at ancient sites there will be a feature marking the point where two or more of these lines cross, this implies that there is a link between the ancient sites and the lines, of course this may be coincidental, but that is the beauty of this investigations. Where these lines cross they form a node, which is the fusion of the two energy lines, these may be very beneficial or negative, dependant on the energy lines and the person experiencing them, this is why you should dowse for beneficially. Many dowsers ask as a percentage how beneficial the lines are, and this gives a level of which to compare, why don't you try this with the spot you found. When you have found a line, try and find another, and find the node, again ask or envision the rods crossing then you reach a node, beware though a node may be quite big in size, so you may need to ask for the centre point of the node. We will cover geoglypths and nodes a little more later on. So you may have found a spot where there is beneficial energy, perhaps you have meditated and performed some excersizes here, you may have found some energy lines, and even a node, and you may even have found a node which compliments the site itself. I expect if you try this at different sites you will be captivated as I have.

Using and understanding energy in nature:

In this area I want to explore the subtle energies and how they could have negative effects, and how they can be used for benefit.

Geopathic stress, is a name termed to the areas where damage to health can occur, these are natural areas where perhaps water or energy cross and give off harmful energies which over time can cause damage to ones health. It has been said that in severe cases cancerous growth in tissue can occur, but this is obviously scorned upon in todays society. In the East a lot of the practices explained in this book are common place, and feng shui is the practice of preventing geopathic stress, this method is about the harmonising of ourselves and our buildings so not to create areas where damage can occur , and the energy cannot flow freely. Today there are many dowsers who can remove or move bad energy, I personally find this a difficult area to approach as different people have different reactions to different energies and moving energy may have an adverse effect on somebody else, as well as the force / life-force behind it. My method is completely respectful to all energies wether they are considered positive or negative. My method is creating a "light space", which is a small area where you can imprint your energy, and invite positive energy to create a bubble if you like. This will be formed of the white chi energy we have been discussing earlier in the book, and you can use this to feel good, in a way we are creating a spot like that of which we can find at the ancient sites.

When dowsing you can find areas of geopathic stress, likewise you can find beneficial areas also, some of these areas are where other energies cross, which is also called a node. A Geoglypth is a picture, diagram or shape found by dowsing at a node. These are formed by a single convoluted line of subtle earth energy.

When dowsing, the more dowsing that you do, you will come across a geoglypth. In reality there are lots and lots of energy lines, there are fewer of the larger ones, i.e the famous Michael and Mary lines, but there are many many more smaller ones. I once dowsed in the woods for energy nodes and found that every ten paces or so there was one, or a dual node which is even more complicated, each one had a spiral energy manifestation and each one was a different size, and this size seemed relative to the width of the energy lines which were associated with them. This is a very basic image what a node looks like

The node has straight lines stemming/ crossing at the centre (radials), and a spiral line relative to those. If you are careful you can dowse these lines. In addition to this at these locations, one can dowse changeable patterns or geoglypths, a couple of examples are here:

I dowsed one of these in a church once and at the time I was a little sceptical about dowsing, but upon investigation found it to be very odd that if dowsing was a creation of mine that the dimensions of the geoglypth were very in scale with itself. I marked out the patterns and the shapes were quite compelling, this led me to conduct further research, also the nature of the shapes were all new to me but upon investigation there are similar shapes that can be found at these sites.

The geoglypths I have seen seem to fall in line with some of the crop circle geometries and cymatic patterns as well as ancient and reoccurring symbology. It is odd that these shapes seem to replicate themselves throughout these modes, of course the hard standing skeptical view is that all crop circles are fake and man made by claimants found on the internet who do not fit the intellectual profile, or have a true explanation for the anomalies found at the crop circle sites. it may be reasonable to conclude that the patterns are copied from another source, almost like a tattoo artist, but far more mathematically tuned, likewise the implementation is too precise in my opinion to be subsequent to the source of the designs, their very arrangement would seem to be the point itself. I suspect a natural force, or an artificial expression of natural laws.

Geoglypths may be part of another phenomena, the patterns may just be the patterns of how the rods move, hence the replication throughout many different dowsing, but the shapes change : for example if you dowse a node at an ancient site and dowse an energy manifestation or geoglypth, if you dowse it again you can dowse another, this leads me to conclude that we are dowsing a changeable natural substance or intelligence, as i have proposed throughout this book, a consciousness of potentially infinite proportions.

I have realised that Geoglypths are an expression, without purpose - yet a force that I refer to as an infinite conciousness with laws, extremely complex and deep in pattern embedded in the history of mankind. This infinite consciousness could be referred to as God or the power of creation, although I think the modern perception of God and religion is not very compatable with this. Geoglypths are the best thing to try if you are sceptical about dowsing or anything like this, the "ideometer response" is definitely not the cause of dowsed configurations of geoglypths, something tangible is being recorded.

Cymatics is the study of visible sound and vibration, a subset of modal phenomena. Typically the surface of a plate, diaphragm, or membrane is vibrated, and regions of maximum and minimum displacement are made visible in a thin coating of particles, paste, or liquid. Different patterns emerge in the excitatory medium depending on the geometry of the plate and the driving frequency. Through Cymatics we can see patterns that relate to nature, normally I would not bring up such a field as being relevant but when you watch a cymatics video you will understand, and this again makes sense with the Infinite consciousness theory, it bridges a gap between sound and expression, and the geoglypths that are experienced, not to mention Fibonacci and Pi and these other mathematical patterns in nature.

The areas that these geoglypths seem to manifest themselves (nodes), as well as crop circles, seem to commonly be found on the ley lines or energy lines that we mentioned and perhaps dowsed earlier. These places can be very beneficial and I have had very potent experiences at some of these sites, buzzing and light headedness, difficulty moving in one direction (against the flow of the energy), enormous sense of well-being, are among some of these sensations but i suspect there are more for those that have investigated this in more detail. These places of beneficial energy are very useful and seem to be marked by ancient and more modern structures potentially harnessed by those aware of such a force. You can also aim to create an area of beneficial energy, I refer to this as a light space.

Excersize: Creating a light space:

Find a spot in your house, if you can dowse then find a spot that is beneficial and that would be a good spot to create a "positive energy spot" or "light space". It may be a good idea to mark this spot with something, or perhaps light a circle of candles – just as a physical representation. Sit inside the circle and imagine a chi ball engulfing the circle, control your breathing to move in and out slowly and try and get the energy to pulsate in time with this so that your chi and breathing are one. Focus on this and meditate, and try to let go and give a feeling or sense of peace and calm. Do this for a while and when you feel it is time to come out of this then slowly bring yourself up, and stand outside of the circle, then project your energy into the circle, and then back to yourself, imagine that the ball is still there and try to maintain it outside of the circle itself. Press against the edges with your hands and feel its resistance, its strength, amazing isn't it! When you have finished ensure that your own energy levels are not depleted and continue in your day. Ensure that once or twice each day you think of the energy ball, and practice inside and outside the energy ball. The light space should be envisioned as being an ares in which you are in complete perfection and good health, you can use it for charging, and if you find that you have a spot or area which is harmful to you then either stretch the light space or create another next to the area you wish to neutralise, whenever you are nearby envision the positive energy, envision the light space being bigger and that your safety zone is protected. Once you have mastered this you can replicate this anywhere, ensure if you are finished that you summon the energy back and allow the flowing of energy to be as it was.

Advanced Energy fields:

Upon a bit more investigation, I have also come across energy fields, or rather information fields. Now you have to be careful here, and remember everything about this theory relies on your acceptance that everything is part of an infinite consciousness and that your perception is driving the whole experience, so with this in mind you are able to explore the infinite potential that our minds and nature offer., it doesn't matter that these fields exist, what matters is there merit towards understanding the world around us. I learnt to dowse objects and people in terms of information, so imagine that very object has an aura or information field, and that the information that relates to that object exists in a field orbiting the object. Our interpretation of this information creates the object in its material sense, in this way its potentially possible to learn to develop some techniques around telekinetic and telepathic abilities. Now the information fields around these objects and people is a spinning field, and this spin relates to other more influential fields such as the sun and the moon, as well as the Earth. You can dowse these fields, and from a health perspective, a smaller energy field suggests a weaker level of health, and generally the older we get the smaller our fields become. Groups of objects and people have combined energy fields and these fields are bigger, this can be useful when dealing with energy work, and circles seem to provide the biggest amount of energy, causing a column of energy combined in which a large field is created. The idea that at nodes, we have an explosion of energy from a point (the centre of the node) and this energy expands outwards interacting with objects and peoples energy fields. This could be described as a matrix, and gets extremely complicated when all energetic links are considered. With this idea, it is possible to imagine that all objects and atoms are connected, and that the energy can be diverted and it could almost be seen as the foundation of the infinite consciousness, the infinite consciousness enters our world through gates. These gates (nodes), seem to have symbology and references to and these references seem to be in the form of symbology that would in a symbolic sense represent the perceptual essence of the infinite conciousness. throughout time partitions in humanity have been aware of this and have sought to preserve the knowledge through cryptic symbols and messages, mathematical geometric configurations often housed on the sites themselves, and perhaps harnessing the force itself acoustically and holistically.

Excersize:

using your dowsing skills from earlier, seek an object to dowse. This can be an inanimate object as information fields exist is an object exists, stand in front of the object then turn around and ask the rods to indicate the endue of the information field, as you walk away from the object you will find that the rods will move at the point. Walk a few steps forward and turn around and ask the rods to open at the same point, this time it should be stronger, and you may even feel the force of the information field while you are thinking of it. Practice this on different objects and compare the results. Try practicing on trees, and measure the distance of the fields. Also you can ask which way the field is spinning, bear in mind that the spin for trees is different above and below ground, the rods will show you which direction the spin is in. Return in 6 months and ask the same question and notice if there is a difference in spin direction. Finally try it on Rocks, and groups of rocks, and even people and groups of people, and note the diastase of the energy field. Try it on young people and older people, but remember to ask or permission first!

Dreams & The end of consciousness?

Dreams & The unconscious mind:
As the theme of this book continues and discussing the unconscious mind opens up, many theories, perspectives of modern and alternative science would snowball. It is not my attempt to align myself with any perspective, but merely look at the vastness potential of the subject. We are mini- universes, and in many ways we are mirrors that reflect the complexities of nature. In that way, we have to look at ourselves as a parallel to nature and our unconscious minds are like the chaos in nature, with vast potential. Our consciousness itself is the order and the element which has evolved throughout our species evolution. Our consciousness is key to us, our survival and our potential. Imagine if we could journey into our unconsciousness using our consciousness as a vehicle, also imagine if the unconscious mind is linked to a greater consciousness, or rather greater unconsciousness. We could retrieve information, communicate with idols, perhaps even play music with pop icons.
In shamanic cultures dreams are considered more relevant then real life, very much in the opposite context to the western approach. Western culture approaches the idea that dreams are a combination of subconscious events created in our minds. If the ancient cultures were at least in part right in contacting spirit guides and using dreams to gain wisdom, then this avenue should be explored, rather than adopting the perspective that if modern science cannot explain it then we should ignore it. On this theme it is worth noting the experiences of someone called the dream detective, Chris Robinson. Chris has predicted events in the future, based on dreams, where symbols are shown to him which can be translated by himself to give key information about events in the future. Often Chris has predicted terrorist attacks, and even the death of princess Diana, with many witness's who can testify to this. But the most compelling work I have read as a researcher was the experiments set up by Gary Schwartz, in which the levels of predictions made by Chris were extremely accurate, down to specific information which upon reading make you wonder. Its easy to be skeptical at first glance, but I would seriously recommend reading the work on the merits.
So where is this information coming from? Is an intelligent element within the infinite consciousness showing Chris these images, is he merely retrieving them himself, or is something else going on?
I spoke earlier about the unconfirmed possibility of an intelligence behind the infinite consciousness, i.e a GOD, well this is obviously a possibility. Also I mentioned the possibility of our potential being far greater than we realise, and in fact Chris without realising it could well be retrieving this information himself. At this stage it is highly unlikely that the information is
getting to Chris by chance, as the events seem to be warnings with specific events with potential consequences, although Chris has some ability to attract certain information such as normal day to day activities like those tested in the G.O.D experiments. I have not got an answer for you but again a series of possibilities for you to contemplate, but what these all share is the strong indication of dreams being connected to something greater, like dowsing this information retrieval seems to be accessible, Chris has refined the process very well and can provide us with an insight into consciousness, and its potential.
Excersize: Lucid dreaming.
Lucid dreaming is experiencing a dream while being in control, this occurs when the unconscious person can condition them self to realise they are dreaming and literally take control. I have experienced lucid dreaming and upon lucid dreaming you wake up feeling refreshed and vitalised. I Admit have not perfected the technique, but the following excersize may introduce to you the powerful force of lucid dreaming. I will add quickly that purchasing a notebook is essential. Upon waking up, writing down everything you experienced is essential to the experience, for making sense of your unconscious mind, which cultivates the experience .
A degree of conditioning is required to facilitate lucid dreaming. A simple technique is asking yourself many times during the day whether you are dreaming. Each time you ask the question, you should look for evidence proving you are not dreaming. The most reliable test: Read something, look away for a moment, and then read it again. If it reads the same way twice, it is unlikely that you are dreaming. After you have proved to yourself that you are not presently dreaming, visualise yourself doing whatever it is you'd like. Also, tell
yourself that you want to recognise a nighttime dream the next time it occurs. The mechanism at work here is simple; it's much the same as picking up milk at the grocery store after reminding yourself to do so an hour before.
At night people usually realise they are dreaming when they experience unusual or bizarre occurrences. For instance, if you find yourself flying with no visible means of support, you should realise that this only happens in dreams and that you must therefore be dreaming. If you awaken from a dream in the middle of the night, it is very helpful to return to the dream immediately, in your imagination. Now envision yourself recognising the dream as such. Tell yourself, "The next time I am dreaming, I want to remember to recognise that I am dreaming." If your intention is strong and clear enough, you may find yourself in a lucid dream when you return to sleep.
An experience I can relate to is the use of flying in the dream, which is a great way to introduce yourself to lucid dreaming. In fact many lucid dreamers report dreams in which they fly unaided, much like Superman. Some lucid dreamers say that flying is a thrilling means of travel; others, that it has helped them return from one of the more harrowing dream experiences --- the endless fall. Why is dream flying so important ? It's a form of dream control that's fairly easy to master. It gives the dreamer an exhilarating sense of freedom. And it's a basic means of travel in the dream world. Perhaps this is the start to lucid dreaming, and facilitates other more in depth experiences.
Lucid Dreaming excersize:
How do you make a dream flight happen at all ? I suggest that
before you retire for bed, you simply repeat these words: "Tonight I
fly !" Then while still awake, imagine that journey. If you find yourself flying, it will be a clear sign that you are in a dream. In any case, when you realise you're dreaming, remember that you want to fly. When you actually feel yourself flying, say, "This is a dream." Make sure that you start modestly, by simply floating above the surface of your dream ground. As you gain confidence, both in the notion that you are dreaming and in your ability to control that experience, you might experiment with flying a bit more. Run, taking big leaps, and then stay aloft for a few seconds so that you resemble an astronaut walking on the moon. Try sustained floating, and then flying at low altitudes. As your confidence increases, so will your flying skills. While asleep, work
on increasing your altitude, maneuverability, and speed. As with
speed sports, you should perfect height and maneuverability before speed. Of course, you couldn't really hurt yourself --- it's only a
dream. But you could get scared. Also remember your mindfulness perceptions, try to experience the dream, try to taste touch and feel the experiences
After you get proficient in dream flying, remember to ask yourself these questions : "How high can I fly ? Can I view the earth from outer space ? Can I travel so fast that I lose awareness of my surroundings and experience the sensation of pure speed ?"
Upon waking up, write down the dream, and everything that happened, include as much information as possible, this is why experiencing the dream in mindfulness is important, as well as remembering the dream in a mindful way. We are creatures ascribed to understanding our position in reality, the world around us, we are capable of observing data relating to this and this in itself will change our position, we will truly understand. I believe this is the key to lucid dreaming, almost creating an anchor within the
subconscious mind or by now what we are referring to the infinite consciousness.
Death, the end of consciousness?
Following up on the research referring to consciousness, I felt it only honest to approach the question of the survival of consciousness after-death. Here the alternative consensus is that when we die our consciousness remains intact for an unknown period of time and is accessible by those with a gift. These are known as mediums. When I grew up I spent several years living in a family in which the mother was a psychic, not specifically a medium – and although I never understood the psychic "thing" I did not ridicule it, as I had witnessed first hand events which didn't comply to science or even the skeptical argument against it. I do not deny that there are conmen, misguided individuals who believe they have special powers where their only gift is perhaps a stunt or trick they learnt years ago, or perhaps some who believe they genuinely have a gift and use associative thinking and nothing more . I enjoy watching Derren Browns shows and they indeed highlight a series of impressive tricks which were used by some victorian mediums, in fact by the recollection of modern reason mediumship seems like a fraud, with cold readers extrapolating information using techniques which unfortunately prey on the vulnerable in a time of family tragedy. An unfortunate series of events, unfortunate however until you witness a true medium event or read about a true medium event. One such example is "The Afterlife Experiments" By Gary Schwartz in which some very strict experiments show that mediums were able to extrapolate very specific information about the deceased relatives and close friends of the subjects. Due to the nature of the experiments the cold reading methods ascribed by modern day skeptics must be ruled out, leaving either the survival of consciousness after death, clever research by the mediums (cheating), or psi power based information retrieval. Obviously the cheating of the mediums seems the most likely, which is why the experiment was refined to include a choice of up to ten subjects, and the medium not allowed to interact with the subject as well as not knowing which subject it was, this meant that the medium would not know when doing the first part of the reading who it was, therefore any pre-empted data retrieval can be ruled out. In addition to this some of the data retrieved was unknown to the subject and upon checking post experiment was in fact reliable data, so this again rules out any telepathic / psi power.
So what could this mean, well it could mean the existence of spirits, souls e.t.c For me the logical conclusion to retain from the experiment was that consciousness can be accessed even after physical existence has been terminated. In one of the experiments the data was retrieved remotely, less successfully but still retrieved, this would imply the latter of those
explanations. We could go on to speculate on how long does this process remain? Can we contact anyone who has died, and are we contacting them or a trace, for instance could I be contacted before I die without knowing it? So many questions and unfortunately I have not the means to investigate, but there are others working in this field. The difficulty is establishing how genuine this data is. As a minimum we can expect that this consciousness is enact somewhere, perhaps in the subjects - the people close to the dead Or perhaps the place they felt close to , or the infinite consciousness itself, a pool of information, which can be accessed by potentially anyone but perfected by the mediums. With the dowsers, such information can be retained also and there are several other ways in which this information can be accessed. The idea that information is stored somewhere is not a new one, and like all other areas contained in this book shows an increasing likelihood of an infinite consciousness.
N.D.E's:
On the subject of data and its genuinity, This paper features collaboration with many scientists and their first hand experiences, and was released by Dr Ken Ring.
"Cardiologist Michael Sabon described a near-death experience that occurred while its experiencer - a woman who was having an unusual surgical procedure for the safe excision and repair of a large basilar artery aneurysm - met all of the accepted criteria for brain death. The unusual medical procedure involved the induction of hypothermic cardiac arrest, in order to insure that the aneurysm at the base of the brain would not rupture during the operation. The patient's body temperature was lowered to 60 degrees Fahrenheit, her heartbeat and breathing ceased, her brain waves flattened, and the blood was completely drained from her head. Her electroencephalogram was totally flat (indicating no cerebral electrical activity) and auditory evoked potentials (normally elicited by clicks presented through moulded earplugs that had been inserted into her ears) ceased (indicating cessation of brainstem functioning). Ordinarily - at regular body temperature - the brain cannot function without its oxygen supply for more than a few minutes. Lowering the body and brain temperature to 60 degrees F. - by chilling the blood in a bypass machine before returning it to the body and brain - however, can reduce cellular metabolism so that the brain can tolerate complete cerebral blood flow for the 45 minutes or so required for the brain operation. The patient later reported that, apparently while under these “brain death” conditions, she had a near-death experience (NDE) in which she was able to observe and hear details of objects and happenings in the operating room with accuracy. She also experienced classic components of the NDE, including a tunnel vortex, a bright light, and different figures in the light (many deceased
family members, including a distant cousin of whose death she had been unaware).
Dr Bruce Greyson documented perhaps one of the most compelling examples of a person who had a NDE and observed events while outside of his body which were later verified by others. The only way that these events could have been observed by the experiencer was if in fact he was outside of his body. Al Sullivan was a 55 year old truck driver who was undergoing triple by-pass surgery when he had a powerful NDE that included an encounter with his deceased mother and brother-in-law, who told Al to go back to his to tell one of his neighbours that their son with lymphoma will be OK. Furthermore, during the NDE, Al accurately noticed that the surgeon operating on him was flapping his arms in an unusual fashion, with his hands in his armpits. When he came back to his body after the surgery was over, the surgeon was startled that Al could describe his own arm flapping, which was his idiosyncratic method of keeping his hands sterile.
Addressing the frequent rejoinder that such events can be accounted for as hallucinations, Dr. Greyson notes that if NDEs are hallucinations, then how is it that such incredibly accurate and verifiable information is resulting from the NDEs? People on drugs who have NDEs see fewer deceased relatives when they travel out of body. This suggests that people who do see relatives are clear-minded, not hallucinating. In some cases of children, they see dead relatives whom they had never met or seen pictures of. This begs the following question: How could they hallucinate accurately the visual images of someone they have never met? When assessing the surmounting data as a whole, Greyson said that the survival hypothesis is the most parsimonious explanation for the growing database of NDEs.
The author Maggie Callanan in her 1993 book, Final Gifts, wrote about an elderly Chinese woman who had an NDE in which she saw her deceased husband and her sister. She was puzzled since her sister wasn't dead, or so she thought. In actuality, her family had hid her sister's recent death from her for fear of upsetting her already fragile health.
On Dec. 9, 2001, Ananova News reported: "Study Proves the Soul Exists" concerning the NDE study by Dr. Pim van Lommel published in the prestigious medical journal The Lancet providing verified evidence of out- of-body perception. Then on Jan. 8, 2002, ABC News reported "Brushes With Death: Scientists Validate Near-Death Experiences" about the same study. Dr. Michael Sabom, an Atlanta cardiologist, found that 43% of cardiac arrest patients had NDEs. Patients with long complicated resuscitations were more likely to have NDEs. He also found that patients who had NDEs frequently
could accurately describe their own resuscitation in detail. In contrast, control group of patients who had cardiac arrests but no NDEs could not describe their own resuscitation with any accuracy
Dr. Kenneth Ring and Sharon Cooper completed a two-year study into the NDEs of the blind. They published their findings in a book entitled "Mindsight" in which they documented the solid evidence of 31 cases in which blind people report visually accurate information obtained during an NDE. Perhaps the best example in his study is that of a forty-five year old blind woman by the name of Vicki Umipeg. Vicki was born blind, her optic nerve having been completely destroyed at birth because of an excess of oxygen she received in the incubator. Yet, she appears to have been able to see during her NDE. Her story is a particularly clear instance of how NDEs of the congenitally blind can unfold in precisely the same way as do those of sighted persons"
These are snap stories from the scientific paper, but if you research there is much more including pod casts by skeptiko, which are worth listening to. Much of the time in the fields discussed in this book scientists pursue an alternative field, much to the disgust of the mainstream. Credit should be given to these scientists who risk great ridicule in the pursuit of the truth

Whereas this subject is tricky to approach and I have left it at the end for personal reasons which will be explained in the finale of the book, "my personal experiences" if does pose questions about our consciousness, and what happens to us when we die, as well as the ones we have loved who have passed before us, it makes you wonder what they feel about our actions since this point and the power of a real message from beyond the veil. Whereas I do not know enough about training you in this area, I think it wouldn't hurt to send a little intentional thought their way.
Get into a meditation position and Envision in your mind a loved one that passed over recently or a while ago one that you hold dear to you, perhaps there were unfinished words or bad feelings, perhaps you done something recently after they passed which you are not proud of. Acknowledge this and send them a message, you forgive them, you are sorry, that you love them, and wish them all the best.
Do this with all of your mindfulness training in mind, try to envision a large white ball of your energy, you know now this energy is love and makes up most of the universe, it is the energy which is dowsed at churches and flows through everything, it is the very essence of life itself, and its this essence you wish to share with them. Try to envision a positive memorable moment
you shared with them. Tell them that you will always love them and remember the time that they had together and that they may go if they wish, they may go to the light with all their other loved ones and that you will be there when the time is right.
When they feel like they're gone slowly try to bring yourself out of the meditation, and envision energy coming through yourself revitalising you, thank the infinite consciousness for allowing you to do this and smile and when you feel ready come out of it.
Note what occurred, and that if nothing else you feel stronger and have resolved a loss from the past, at most you have extended your love to a dear loved one or friend helping them to continue.
