Good reads and sources

Recommended Authors and reads: (some of these works are referenced in the books)
I cannot claim to have read anywhere near enough, and I do not claim to be a spiritual leader and i have tried not to involve the word spirituality in this piece. Although I have read some really compelling material. Here is a selection that I would recommend that you read and that are available for very little cost.
The Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy by Douglas Adams - a great insight into the universe, using science fiction as his medium, the meaning of ourselves and the world around us is discovered in a different and mildly amusing light.
A Statistical Examination of the Megalithic Sites in Britain by Alexander Thom - A massive collection of statistics and observations that are being recognised (gradually) today, around the megalithic structures and the technology behind it.
Stonehenge decoded and Beyond Stonehenge by Gerald Hawkins - Great research projects using computers to compute probabilities of alignments. Gerald proposes the first computers used as well as calendars.
The broken Stone by Jon Morris - A great story around the basis that stonehenge may have been used as a training centre / or school along with a power motivator, great work based on some interesting research around megaliths.
The Secret - Rhonda Byrne - A great self help book involving a slightly mystical perception of the universe, but it makes absolute sense.
The slight edge by Jeff Ollson - A great self help book around decision making, one which has influenced me greatly.
The Sun and the Serpent by Hamish Miller and Paul Broadhurst - A great introduction to dowsing and English History and Folklore. When I read this I wasn't aware of what even dowsing was, and we used it as a guide to explore the local ancient sites and historic sites. These sites had a definite impact on me, enough for me to investigate further.
The G.O.D Experiments by Gary Schwartz. - Gary Schwartz experiments with the idea that there is nothing random about reality, and there is a Grand Organising Design process involved, involving some great tests - some of which you can perform on your own. He also wrote the "afterlife experiments" which indicates that human consciousness stretches beyond the veil of physical extinction.
Mindfulness for dummies by Shamash Alidina - A fantastic introduction to mindfulness, allowing everyone to find purpose in everything and to invite the world around us in to influence us in the best way possible.
Reiki For dummies - A good book about Reiki.
Plant Spirit medicine by Elliott Cowan - a book about the healing properties of Plants , but interestingly not the direct application of the plants, this book fringes on shamanism which is an area I haven't covered in the book.
Science set free / The science delusion by Rupert Sheldrake - the latest pioneer in parapsychology, compelling work around Morphic resonance, telepathy and psychic phenomena.
The Disciplines of dowsing by Tom Graves - A great book about dowsing (more advanced) and the mindset around a difficult art, with preconceptions and wishful thinking creeping in, this book explores the methodology which is used to attain good results.
Dowsing Observations by Rory Maquestien - a good book on the technicality around dowsing and earth energy lines, Rory adopts a scientific approach to the phenomena.
Albert Huxely's "The doors of perception" - Amazing book about perception and the effects of hallucinogenic drugs.
Plant Spirit Medicine by Elliott Cowan - A book around the roots of shamanism and healing through the unphysical effects of plants.
